Scaldwell Community Club was established by local villagers over forty years ago after the last public house in the village closed its doors. The bar serves as a welcoming space for locals to gather in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. Within the Club, you can find a table tennis table and a darts board, both of which are popular among members. Operated by a committee of elected villagers, membership is open to anyone living in Scaldwell. 

Our fully stocked bar offers a diverse selection of beers, lagers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and snacks, all served by dedicated village volunteers. If you're interested in helping out behind the bar or joining the committee, please reach out to a committee member. Current members include Michelle Wharton, Darren Dean, Nick Masterson-Jones, Nicola and Spyros Kyriakides, Dave and Lorraine Angus, Dean Johnson, and Ryan Harris.

Throughout the year, the Club committee organizes and runs a number of functions and events. These include:

·       An annual Christmas Dinner party for the Senior Citizens of Scaldwell

·       A summer ‘Party in the Park’ day with live music 

·       An annual Treasure Hunt

·       Quiz Nights

·       Themed dinner evenings

The Club is now open on Friday evenings from 7:00pm and on the first Thursday of the month, also at 7pm.
